"only the foolish think themselves stronger than someone else"
Bearon, Leader of the Frothing Loonies
This is the online version of the Rad Gazette, our Necromunda propaganda machine. Here you can find info concerning Necromunda, our gangs and rules, our maps and miniatures.

This is the Rad Gazette itself, our local newsletter. So there'll be short articles about the proceedings in our community (introduction of new rules, battle reports, etc.) and so much more. Just read on and you'll know... The newest articles are always on top, while the oldest are - surprisingly- at the bottom of this page.
The Circus comes To Town!
The famous Necromundan Wargames will be visiting the Rad Springs area during the next month. The Rad Gazette spoke with the director Gnarly Gary:
"Wa will be trav'lling along hare and bringz ya game. Tha Road Rage wa havez and tha Scumathlon. And tha Arena wa'll bring to ya. Batter watch out an' place ya betz fast.."
Raider Madness Continues!
The dreaded Ash Waste Raiders have finally revealed one of their secrets. They have been seen cruising the wastes in teams of two to four people. For this purpose they used APC (armoured personnel carrier) type vehicles. These vehicles are tracked and can be constructed quite easily. Even local gangs should be thinking about the inclusion of these unreliable but fast APCs.
New sickness spreading?
Latest news... a report has been handed in, due to which we possibly face an enormous new threat: giant growth. Travelers have seen Ash Scorpions grown to ten times their normal size, which is already huge. This new breed - called gigantic scorpion by biologists- could be just another proof for the dangerous influence of Necromundan environment on living creatures. Will we all swell to enormous size in time?
Big Bang in Twin Caves!
During the last hours, the smoke finally cleared over the arced domes of Twin Caves. A short while ago, four gangs were struggling for survival in the two intersected areas. On one side, the 'Graceful Goons' were battling the Delaque gang, on the other side, the Cawdor finally dealt judgement to the Redemptionist Crusade which captured their Heavy. While the spies' attempts to subdue the ladies seems to be much ado about nothing, and the sneaky gits were soon bottling, the religious encounter proved to be very bloody indeed. The Cawdor first managed to sneak into the Redemptionists hideout, then silently disposed of the guards and freed the ganger. Shortly thereafter, the Redemptionists mounted a counter- attack to free their brethren in turn. Despite miserable shooting on all sides, the 'Zealots' drove off the fanatic brethren, killing one of them.
Goons capture the flag!
At the end of last week an eagerly awaited happening finally took place: our local gangs fought for the Spire.
The Graceful Goons (Escher) and the Irreligious Zealots (Cawdor) both entered the arena, challenged by a devious Delaque gang of unknown origins. The stands were crowded beyond belief as the Rad Springs amazons now fought against
the Fungus Hill heroes. Nobody wanted to miss this. Even though not being well known around here, the Delaque also brought in their share of admirers.
The battle itself proved to be one of the most bloody combats of all times. According to some new modifications, the arena was speckled with traps (sentry guns, beasts, etc.) and the Spire itself was higher than ever before. The gangers would have to climb enormous
9 levels! During the course of the battle each gang managed to conquer one of the upper three levels, but in the end only the ladies stayed on top. While the Escher literally raced up the tower only to be devoured by a hungry Ripper Jack, the Delaque took to shooting the
Zealots to dust at ground level. Of all three gangs, only four fighters remained unharmed and standing. No less than five people were shot (or hacked) to bits in the encounter. One Cawdor fighter had to retire due to his multiple injuries.
In the end the female prowess prevailed and the Goons scraped off the heavy prize. This for sure was a night to remember.
While the ladies are now celebrating their victory and the Cawdor lick their wounds and recruit some new gangers, the Delaque vanished as mysteriously as they appeared.
Double Dealing!
Yesterday last months activities culminated in a heavy clash. The Zealots and the Goons pulled themselves together and united to hunt the dread "Night Crawler", a multi-legged monstrosity, which haunted the mine workings of Fungus Hill. Under cover of night's blackness, the two gangs circled the beast. Shortly thereafter, one of the ladies took a shot at the Cawdor Heavy pinning him. The Cawdors recognizing the affront for what it was, immediately started fighting back. While Ze'agor, leader of the dark fighters managed to strike down the monster, the rest of the fanatic brethren opened fire upon the Escher, ripping them to pieces. Ze'agor already announced the re-opening of the mine workings.
Is revenge really sweet?
Following the ambush upon the Zealots (the Gazette reported), the Cawdor seemingly decided to strike back. They mounted a raid on the Escher's workshop near Sands Edge. Due to a local cave-in the fight met an early end with neither house pulling it off.
Merciless Attack!
A few days ago, the Irreligious Zealots, our local Cawdor gang, were on their way to rescue their Heavy from a Redemptionist crusade. They were ambushed along the way by the ladies of the Graceful Goons (House Escher). Despite the lack of their heavy, the Cawdor managed to drive off the attackers.
Vengeful Vegetation
local ecologists report increased growth of wire weed in these premises. Land owners are held to check their fortifications. All you youngsters out there. Beware the wire weed. The malicious plant can slice you to pieces with ease. The thin strands cut through flesh and bone alike.

Outworld invasion!
lately whole families have been acting strangely (anyone remember Jones?), out in the wastes. They have been seen digging soil and herding animals around without sense. Is there some evil Wyrd at work? A new plague? An Arbitrator spokesman suggested the effect of Catachan Brainleafs as possible source. But how could a plant work such evil?
Bane of the living
Yesterday, a battered bounty hunter arrived in Rad Springs with truly horrifying news... On request, the local authorities released his tale:
"I follow'd him all o'er the damn planet. From dome to dome, from hive to hive he fled, I always behind. An abomination, that's what he is. Bane of the living they call him. The dead walk for him. Attack'd me near the wall at Sludge Falls, down in the dark, did they.I plead you now to help. Kill the beast."
It is said that the bounty hunter already left town again to retire in Hive's End.
Escher drive off Sand Rippers
The female fighter of the local Escher gang managed to drive off an attacking band of Ash Waste Raiders, also known as "Sand Rippers". These outlaw war-bands seem to belong to the following of The High King. The Raiders were trying to raid the outskirt of Rad Springs. The valiant women shot down two of the rebels causing the rest to turn tails. The citizens of Rad Springs want to say thanks and name the Escher ladies "honorable citizens" from now on.
New breed of insect or genetic experiment gone wild?
The small drinking hole near Sands Edge has lately been the victim of horrible attacks. Giant ants swarmed over the place, biting people and showering them with their acid.
Delaque enter the fray...
After a long absence, House Delaque again enters the domes about Rad Springs. Rumours spread about a rising interest of the Houses in our small settlements.
Season starts - Lord of the Spire revived
The famous arena near town has opened its doors again. The masses now await the gangs eager for wealth and glory. Van Saar's "Techno Mages", last years winners, already announced their coming.
Party all night
Tonight a party will be held at Rad Springs. The ladies of House Escher will be celebrating the kill of a Spyre Hunter. The fiend is said to have been killed by a youngster. Critics claim that the dead hunter was known only as "Morbulon the useless", thus it being no great feat to kill him.
Return of the living dead - skeletons seen in the wastes
A traveler from Dead End Pass accounted for walking skeletons along the road. Up to now the sightings are unconfirmed, but who can guess the truth? Caution, citizens!
Heavy Capture
Last week a crusade of the Redemptionist madmen managed to capture the famous Xu'on of the "Zealots" a local Cawdor gang. The fanatics didn't accept an offer for exchange of captives. Rumours claim that rescue attempts will be made.At the same time the Redemptionists took the toll bridge. The priest already announced heavy wages.
Witches abroad? - 50 people missing in the wastes
In the last three months, whole families have vanished. The authorities have declined from giving a statement.
Independent Raiders - Saviours or Sinners?
The Ash Waste Raiders which have been harassing our settlement lately have united under the flag of The Raider High King. Although no name was revealed, rumours are strong.
Fresh Turf
During the last few months, activities had been reported close to the wastes. Following some heavy digging, a new dome has been opened. Settlers are pouring in massively. Already a settlement called Rad Springs has been founded. The guilders announced the inclusion of Rad Springs in their trading routes.
